Manaslu Circuit trek is often regarding as the best treks in Nepal. It is now a great alternative of the Annapurna circuit trek. 


Trek Season – September – Mid December

Day 1 – Kathmandu – Soti Khola ( pre book the ticket of bus)

Day 2 – Soti Khola – Dovan [8-10 hrs] ( rough road with rock and landslide)

Day 3 – Dovan – Chisapani [7-8 hours]

Day 4 – Chisapani – Ghap [7-8 hours]

Day 5 – Ghap – Lho [7-8 hours]

Day 6 – Lho- Samdo [6-7 hours] 3840m (view get better)

Day 7 – Samdo – Dharmashala(larke phedi) [4 hours]

Day 8 – Dharmashala(larke phedi) – Larke Pass (5106m) – Larke Phedi (Manang) 4200m

Day 9 Larke Phedi (Manang) – Gowa 2300m

Day 10 – Gowa – Dharapani – Besisahar – Kathmandu (jeep as well as bus service available)

Difficulty Level: Hard

This is not a beginners trek, as this is the longest pass you need to walk more and more, be both mentally and physically prepared before you leave for this trek.

Additional Information

1)Birendra Lake is near from Sama Village (An additional day at Sama is recommended if you also want to go to the Basecamp)
2) Coke is comparative cheaper than bottled water after a certain height
3) It took us 15 hours to cross the Larke Pass (from Samdo to Larke Phedi)
4) While coming back, if possible, spend a night at Bhimthang. It is such a beautiful place.
5) We could charge our phone in almost every location.
